India condemns attacks on Saudi Arabia after one Indian national was killed and three were injured in incidents involving Dammam airport and the Shaybah oil field.

India has strongly condemned continued attacks on civilian and energy infrastructure in Saudi Arabia that resulted in civilian casualties, including the death of an Indian national.
According to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), one Indian national was killed and two others were injured in attacks on King Fahd International Airport in Dammam. Another Indian national was injured in an attack on Saudi Aramco’s Shaybah oil field in the Eastern Province on October 21.
The MEA conveyed its condolences to the family of the deceased and wished those injured a speedy recovery. It said the Indian Embassy in Riyadh was in contact with Saudi authorities and would extend all possible assistance to the affected Indian nationals.
“Attacks on civilian and critical infrastructure are completely unacceptable and must cease immediately,” the MEA said.
India also expressed solidarity with the people and Government of Saudi Arabia in safeguarding the Kingdom’s sovereignty and voiced hope that peace and normalcy would return to the region at the earliest.
