Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu visited an Anganwadi centre in Linganguntla village, shared ragi malt with children, distributed induction stoves under the Net Zero initiative, and reaffirmed the government's commitment to child nutrition and early childhood education.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu had a heartwarming interaction with children at an Anganwadi centre in Linganguntla village of Palnadu district on Saturday, where he sat on the floor alongside them and shared a bowl of nutritious ragi malt.
The Chief Minister visited the Anganwadi centre before participating in the Swachh Andhra-Swarna Andhra and Annadata Sukhibhava programmes in the village. The visit highlighted the government's emphasis on child nutrition, maternal health, and early childhood education.
As part of the State government's Net Zero initiative, Chandrababu Naidu distributed an induction stove and steel utensils to the Anganwadi centre. The government is implementing a statewide programme to provide induction stoves and cooking utensils to all 44,346 Anganwadi centres at an estimated cost of ₹32 crore, promoting cleaner, safer, and environmentally friendly cooking practices.
During the visit, the Chief Minister reviewed the nutritional food being supplied to children, examined stocks of essential commodities, and enquired about preschool learning activities conducted at the centre.
In a memorable moment, an Anganwadi helper prepared fresh ragi malt using the newly installed induction stove in the Chief Minister's presence. Chandrababu Naidu then joined the children, sat among them, and shared the nutritious drink while engaging in cheerful conversations.
The interaction drew appreciation from local residents and officials, reflecting the government's focus on strengthening grassroots welfare programmes and improving the quality of services at Anganwadi centres.
The Chief Minister also planted a sapling on the Anganwadi premises, reinforcing the government's commitment to environmental sustainability and green initiatives.
Minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar, MLA Pattipati Pullarao, District Collector Kritika Shukla, and other officials accompanied the Chief Minister during the visit.
