YSRCP leader Noori Fathima alleged that the Andhra Pradesh coalition government has failed to implement key women-centric welfare schemes promised under the Super Six agenda, leaving beneficiaries without financial assistance even after two years in office.

Guntur, June 13: The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) has strongly criticized the Andhra Pradesh coalition government, describing it as a "failed government" for allegedly failing to fulfill key election promises, particularly those aimed at women.
Addressing the media in Guntur on Saturday, YSRCP Guntur East constituency in-charge Noori Fathima said that four of the coalition's flagship "Super Six" promises were specifically designed for women, but none had been effectively implemented even after two years in office.
Fathima alleged that the much-publicized Ada Bidda Nidhi scheme remains unimplemented despite assurances made during the election campaign. She said Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan had promised a monthly financial assistance of Rs 1,500 to women aged between 18 and 59 years and had even distributed signed guarantee bonds during their door-to-door campaign.
According to her, the government now owes each eligible woman Rs 36,000 for the two-year period. She further claimed that the issue was not addressed by the Chief Minister during his recent speech in Tirupati.
The YSRCP leader also criticized the government's pension promise to women from weaker sections. She said the coalition had assured a monthly pension of Rs 4,000 but failed to implement the scheme, resulting in an accumulated due amount of Rs 96,000 per eligible beneficiary.
Fathima alleged that the Talliki Vandanam scheme has not been fully implemented despite schools reopening and claimed that the number of beneficiaries had been reduced. She also accused the government of imposing restrictions on the free bus travel scheme and diluting the Deepam scheme by providing only two free LPG cylinders instead of the promised three.
Highlighting the previous YSRCP government's welfare initiatives, she said former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy had successfully implemented schemes such as Cheyutha, Aasara, Kapu Nestham and the registration of house sites in the names of women beneficiaries.
