IT Minister Nara Lokesh invited Korean companies to invest in Andhra Pradesh, highlighting opportunities in electronics, semiconductors, EVs, renewable energy and advanced manufacturing.

Seoul: Andhra Pradesh Minister for Human Resource Development, Information Technology, Electronics & Communications and RTGS, Nara Lokesh, invited Korean companies to become partners in the State's growth story, highlighting Andhra Pradesh as one of India's most attractive investment destinations.
The invitation was made during a Special Interactive Session and the 31st CII Partnership Summit 2026 Korea Roadshow, jointly organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the Government of Andhra Pradesh in Seoul. The event brought together senior representatives from the Andhra Pradesh Government, the Embassy of India in Seoul, the Republic of Korea, Invest KOREA, KOTRA, Korean industries and the CII Andhra Pradesh CEOs delegation.
Delivering the keynote address, Lokesh said Andhra Pradesh is pursuing an aggressive growth strategy driven by industrialisation, technology-led governance, ease of doing business and employment generation. He highlighted investment opportunities in electronics, information technology, semiconductors, automobiles, electric vehicles, renewable energy, green hydrogen, food processing, ports, logistics and advanced manufacturing.
He said Andhra Pradesh offers investors proactive governance, a skilled workforce, world-class industrial infrastructure, port-led connectivity and transparent, investor-friendly policies. He assured Korean businesses of the government's commitment to providing a responsive and efficient investment ecosystem.
India's Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, Gourangalal Das, said Andhra Pradesh's strengths complement Korea's expertise in manufacturing, technology, mobility and innovation, creating significant opportunities for bilateral cooperation.
Senior officials from the Korean Government, including Lee Min-Kyong, Director-General for the Asian and Pacific Affairs Bureau, and Dr. Kim Tae Hyung, Commissioner of Invest KOREA, also highlighted the growing scope for economic collaboration between Korea and Indian states.
During the programme, Bhaskar Katamneni, Secretary, ITE&C, Government of Andhra Pradesh, presented the State's investment potential, focusing on industrial infrastructure, digital technologies, logistics and skilled talent.
The roadshow also promoted the 31st CII Partnership Summit, scheduled to be held in Visakhapatnam on November 12-13, 2026, inviting Korean companies to participate and explore investment opportunities in Andhra Pradesh. More than 120 representatives from government agencies, industry and business organisations attended the event.
